The Society for Minimalist Music is an international, scholarly, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the study of minimalist music: i.e. minimalism in its classic forms dating from the 1960s, and in various subsequent developments loosely contained under the rubric post-minimalism. As a group, we are comprised of scholars, performers, researchers, and composers, all with a shared interest in minimalist music (broadly defined). Our Board of Advisors is comprised of:
